Congratulations to the winner who goes by the name of NinjaAs! Congratulations to the rest of the finalists – Vitto, mexicola and pintachan. Congratulations to everyone who got to the Championship Phase – 25 best Istanbul players in the world. And congratulations to everybody who joined and played through their matches in the entire tournament!

We can not stress enough how awesome of an experience it was to run this event. Players from, quite literally, around the globe signed up and played. In the final match alone there were players from three different continents! And Twenty different time zones were represented in the tournament overall!

As to some funny data… The Championship Phase shaped as follows:

1. 148 rubies were gathered throughout the quarter finals, semi finals and in the Grand Final.

2. The shortest match in the Championship Phase took 16 rounds, the longest 20 rounds – and they were five players matches, mind.

3. The average number of rounds was 17.5.

4. The most wins went to the red player, that includes, quite fittingly, the Grand Final.

And finally, the prizes! Amongst the spoils were 25 codes for our various games, and thanks to the generosity of our friends at Pegasus Spiele, two Istanbul Big Boxes and two regular Istanbul tabletop game boxes are being sent to the finalists.

Let me also take this moment to officially thank Pegasus Spiele, Alderac Entertainment Group and Stately Play for helping us with this entire event. You’re awesome!

It’s been a wild ride, and who knows, mayhaps it was not the last one like this?
